Valued Vet

PAALS invites local veterinary clinics to participate in this program to help off-set the cost of medical care for assistance dog candidates by providing in-kind services for up to five dogs for one year. As a PAALS Valued Veterinarian, you would choose either a Health or Wellness package to provide services and care.

Foster a puppy.  We need fosters to help socialize our pups, and families are the best way to help expose them to several different dynamics. It's a commitment of time, patience and love... so if you are up for the challenge, please apply below.

New Home

We're outgrowing our facility!

As we continue to grow in the number of programs and assistance dogs whelped, trained and placed with people in need, we find we are outgrowing our current building which is a converted day care center. 

​

We are hopeful for a bequest from an individual or estate of funds or property that can be converted for our use. Ideally, the property would meet the following criteria:

  • A therapeutic setting that is wooded, peaceful and quiet.

  • Location along the I-20 corridor between I-26 and I-77

  • Approximately 5-15 acres

  • Our main facility building needs to be a minimum of 6,000 square feet.

  • Handicap accessible

  • Facility with an open floor plan or one that can be easily reconfigured

  • Outbuildings would be fine.

This would be a wonderful legacy to provide help for those people who are challenged by disability.
